# Booking Services

# How to book a task?

All you need to know about the booking process on the Discontract platform.

At the moment, there are over 50 different types of services to choose from on the Discontract platform. Plumbing, electricity works, moving, landscaping services, assistance with daily tasks, grocery shopping... you name it – here, you can find everything you need to make your daily life easier, bring long-planned renovations to life, and keep your home clean and cozy.

If you already have the planning down, booking the service you need will be a breeze. Here's how:

• Select the service you need by clicking on the search bar.

• Next, fill in some information about your task to give the pro a clear idea of what has to be done.

• What we need: you'll have to provide your address (only visible to the selected pro), the date and time of your task, its estimated length, and a short description. In some cases, we may also ask you to indicate room size or include a photo of the object you need help with.

# How to choose a Pro?

Here's how you can find the right person for the job on the Discontract platform.

When it comes to home or office maintenance, repairs, or other services, you need to know that your tasks are in good hands. That's exactly what Discontract aims to do: help you find the right pro for your project.

There are two ways to hire a pro through Discontract:

• Using the search bar: Simply select the service you need and fill in the relevant task information. We'll give you a list of all local pros providing the service you need to choose from. Compare profiles, experience, rates, and client ratings. This information will help you easily make a confident choice.

• We have something for those in a hurry too! First, provide some info about your task, and then simply click on the *Fast PRO Search* option. We'll match you with the pro that accepts your task the fastest.

# How much does it cost to book a service?

Don't worry about going over the budget. Here's how you can know the estimate of your order cost.

With Discontract, you'll be able to see the estimated cost of your task right from the start. We've also made sure comparing and choosing from different rates in your area is easy, so you have no trouble finding a pro that offers exactly what you're looking for.

To see your task estimate, you'll only need to fill in all the requested task information and select a pro. Estimates are calculated according to service providers' hourly rates and indicated task duration.

The final cost of your order may vary slightly, as it will reflect the actual time that was spent on the task. Additionally, beside the labor cost, the pro may also include additional receipted expenses incurred for materials or other purchases, if any were needed for the job. To avoid any unexpected charges, we advise to always ask the pro whether any additional expenses will be needed and confirm the estimated length of the task.

# Why do I need a payment card to book services?

Learn why we will ask you to provide your payment card information before placing an order.

Whenever we ask you to provide any personal data, it's done to make sure we can keep Discontract running smoothly, make awesome improvements as needed, and guarantee our users' safety. The aim of Discontract is to help you find – in a much easier and convenient way – professional services to take care of all your home and office tasks.

That's also why we'll also ask you to provide your payment card details. This information is needed to confirm your order as a security measure for both the customer and the pro, as well as a seamless payment guarantee for any services received.

# How can I pay for a task?

The entire payment process on Discontract is automated. All you will need to do is to confirm your selected payment type.

Any tasks booked through Discontract can be paid for with ease, without waiting for invoices or looking for cash. In order for us to transfer your payment to the pro once the task has been completed, you'll have to add your payment card details before making an order. Here's how to add your bank or virtual card:

➢ Go to your account ➢ Click on *Payment Method* under the *Invoice Information* section ➢ Fill in your payment card details and save.

All relevant payments will be charged to your account automatically, and you'll be immediately notified of any payments through the Discontract platform. Detailed invoices will be sent to the e-mail address provided.

# Managing Tasks

# Which tasks will I see on my account?

The types of tasks you will be able to see on the Discontract platform.

When you log in to your account on the Discontract platform, you can visit the Task section, where you'll be able to see all of your Active Tasks and Task History.

Active Tasks include services you've ordered but which have not been completed yet. Their details, such as date and time, can be modified as long as any changes are agreed to by both the client and the pro.

In Task History you'll be able to view all of your past orders that have been completed.

# How can I contact the Pro?

Our users are able to communicate with each other quickly and easily. Read how you can get in touch with your pro through Discontract.

No unanswered messages here – Discontract allows you to communicate and get all your order details just right without the extra effort nor time.

You will always be able to contact your pro directly through the Discontract platform. If your order has already been confirmed by the service provider, you can do it either by calling or messaging. You'll find the buttons for these actions on your selected pro's profile.

# How do I indicate my task duration?

Services booked through Discontract are always charged on an hourly-rate basis, so it's important to specify how long your task will take.

In order for us to give you an estimate, we'll ask you to indicate the approximate length of the task when you make the booking.

This can be done by creating a task and filling in certain information, including the estimated duration of the task.&#x20;

Task duration may change if the pro informs you that they will need more time to complete the job. In that case, you'll be able to modify the estimated length of the task in accordance with your new agreement.

Also, keep in mind that the actual length of the job may differ from the estimated one, and the time reflected in your invoice will correspond to that of the actual time spent on the task. The final duration will always be the one submitted by the pro once they have completed the task.

# How do I rate a task?

Make it easier for all members of the Discontract community by leaving ratings for services received. Here's how.

Can one click make a difference? It sure can!

Any ratings left on the Discontract platform help a great pro stand out. A high rating is not only a good way to give thanks for a job well done, but it also helps all other Discontract users. This goes for lower ratings, too – they help us keep track of underwhelming results. This way, we can make sure only the most professional services reach our users.

You'll be able to rate the service received when the pro has marked the job as completed. We'll let you know when that happens through the Discontract platform and via text SMS. Then, simply select *Rate the Service* next to the task to leave a 1 to 5-star rating for the pro.

# Can I cancel a task?

Everyone can find themselves in unexpected situations every once in a while. See how you may cancel your order.

We get it, life happens and you might sometimes find yourself in a situation where your plans have to change. Going on an unexpected trip or there's a sudden change of possibilities?

Whatever the reason, cancel your order by calling the Discontract customer support team.

# Payment Information

# How is the task cost calculated?

See what your service price consists of and how it may vary.

There are no hidden, small print charges on Discontract – any task estimate will be based on your pro's hourly rate and the task duration indicated by you.

However, this estimated cost may in some cases differ from the final cost of the order. For example, it may happen if the pro indicates that the task took longer than estimated upon completing it, since the final amount is always calculated in accordance to actual time spent doing the job. This is why we advise you to always contact your pro before they arrive on site, and ask how much time they believe the task could take. It's also a good idea to clarify whether they will need to make any additional purchases for your task, as these expenses may also alter the final cost of your service.

Communication goes a long way! It will help you avoid any unpleasant surprises, and make sure that you're not charged more than you had planned.

# Why was I charged an incorrect amount?

The amount paid isn't what you had planned? Take a look at why it could have happened, how to avoid it, and where to find more help.

We know how unpleasant paying more than you had intended can be. Your invoice doesn't match the estimated cost of the service? This may happen if:

• the service provider had to incur additional costs to complete the task;

• the duration of the task was longer than estimated.

When you make a booking, the indicated amount is an estimate and not the final price of your service. That's because the final cost is calculated according to the actual time the service provider spends working on the task.

To avoid any misunderstandings, we recommend always discussing your task details, such as possible extra expenses or estimated task duration, with your service provider by using the communication tools provided on the Discontract platform.&#x20;

If you have any further questions about payment conditions, service rates or quality, you can always reach us through our customer support department – send us a query at <info@discontract.com>, or simply call or message us directly through the Discontract platform. We're always happy to help!

# Pro Profile

# What information will be visible to the clients?

Find out what the clients can see when they visit your profile.

Before booking your services, clients will be able to view:

• your name and profile picture

• the service description you have provided

• the hourly rates for your services

• ratings and reviews from other customers

This information will help customers find pros that best fit their needs. In turn, it will also make the experience of working together better for both sides.

Not sure what your profile should look like?

# How do I fill out my profile?

A few tips on how to fill out your profile information and receive more orders.

Would you like to receive more orders? Help clients find you more easily and clearly show why the services you offer are exactly what they're looking for. Here are a few tips:\
\
• Describe the services you offer in detail. Don't forget to include any relevant experience and a sentence or two about your personal qualities. A detailed description will help to build trust and create a connection with potential clients from the very start.

• Upload a picture that clearly shows your face. It's probably no surprise that a profile photo makes it much more likely for a client to notice you. Don't forget that your photo must be consistent with the id provided.

You can upload your picture when filling out your pro registration form for the first time. You'll find this form in your Account by clicking on *PRO registration*.

If you've already filled out the form, you may edit your profile description and your photo at any time by going to your Account and clicking on *Edit.*

If your profile as a service provider has already been verified by our team, it may take some time until new information becomes visible to clients when you update your profile. This is because we want to ensure the safety of all our users. In order to avoid any abusive behaviour, this information is verified by our Discontract team.

# Where can I choose my services and hourly rates?

Before you begin working, you'll need to describe what you do. Here's how you can choose your service type and indicate your hourly rates.

You can select the relevant service and its hourly rate by following these steps;

➢ Go to your account ➢ In *My Services* click on *Add New Service* ➢ Choose the applicable service category and type ➢ Type in your hourly rate of pay ➢ Click to *Save*.

Once you've done the above, we'll inform you that your registration has been accepted. A Discontract customer support agent will contant you shortly afterwards to complete the registration.

# How can I let client know that I'm available for work?

Here's how to show your availability to clients.

If you're a verified service provider, you won't have to do anything extra – clients can already book your services. You'll be able to view every task request separately, and choose whether to accept or decline it.

You'll also have the freedom to select the working hours that suit you best as you'll be able to modify your profile's visibility to clients at any time.

What if you're on vacation or simply too busy? You can turn the orders off completely. This can be done by going to your Account and clicking on the option *Temporarily pause orders*.

Once you do that, you'll immediately see a notice informing you that orders are paused. You'll be able to turn them back on and start receiving client orders again at any time.

# Payment Information

# How will I receive payments?

A fast and convenient payment system for all the tasks you complete.

We're fully aware how annoying it can be waiting what may seem like an eternity to receive payment for a job done. That is why we've made sure that with Discontract, everything is as smooth and quick as it can be.

You'll receive payments for completed tasks via bank transfer, which will be made to the bank account indicated within 24 hours after marking the task as completed.

# Conducting Tasks

# How can I confirm a new order?

Confirming an order through Discontract is extra easy.

Received a new task request? Congratulations, you're already halfway! 😉

To confirm it, you'll only need to select the arrival time and click on *Confirm arrival*. That's it, your order has been confirmed!

If you need to discuss any details with the client or change the time and/or date of arrival, you can do so by contacting them directly through the Discontract platform.&#x20;

# How can I contact the client?

Stay in touch! Here's how you can communicate with your clients on the Discontract platform.

We care about making the communication between you and the client easy, and that's why with us, you'll be able to contact each other directly on the Discontract platform at any time.

When someone wants to book your services, and you receive a notification about the request, two communication options will appear next to the task:

• A call button: you'll see a phone icon next to the client. Click on it and call the client directly.

• A chat bubble: if calling isn't your thing, you'll also have the option of sending a message. Just click on the chat button next to the phone icon. Try out GIFs to make your chat more fun and entertaining!

# How to set or modify arrival time?

Agree on a time you will arrive to perform a task. Here's a guide on how to set it on the Discontract platform.

The arrival time is always initially proposed by the client, but if you can't make it at the date or hour indicated, it doesn't necessarily mean that the order is lost!

If you wish to modify the proposed arrival time, you can contact the client and suggest doing so. Do this by using one of our communication tools:

• Make a call – there's a phone icon next to the task. Click on it to call the client directly.

• Send a message – next to the phone icon you'll also find a message bubble. Send a short text to let the client know you'd like to change the time – they're guaranteed to receive it.

We have no doubts that one of these quick ways will help you agree on and set a new arrival time. Once you've decided what it should be, click on *Choose arrival time* on the Discontract platform, select *Other time* and indicate the new time and date that you've agreed on. An active *Confirm arrival* button will appear, which will bring you back to the task once clicked.

# How can I cancel a task?

If circumstances no longer allow you to accept or perform a task, you can cancel it. Here's how.

We're certain that you're eager to complete every new order you get. However, we also know that unavoidable situations happen to everyone. If, for this reason, you can't accept a new order (before confirmation), you may reject it by:

• Passive cancellation: If you don't accept a new task order from a client within 30 minutes, the task will be rejected automatically.

• Active cancellation: You may cancel a task by clicking on the cancellation button, which is marked by an *X* symbol. Just keep in mind that we will ask you to indicate the reason for cancellation, which will be visible to the client.

Maybe it's the requested time of the task that doesn't suit you? It would be a shame to lose an order just for that, and that's why, once you choose to cancel, we'll also give you an option of consulting the client and rescheduling.

If you have already confirmed the task, the only way to cancel it is by calling Discontract customer support. To call or message us, see the *Help* section in your Account.

# How do I mark a task as completed?

Finished a task? Don't forget to take these simple steps to record your results and ensure a guaranteed payment.

Once you finish a task, it must be recorded on the Discontract platform as well. This process won't take you longer than a couple of minutes:

You can mark the task as completed by selecting the option *Complete*. Then, we'll ask you to fill in some information about the task, such as how long it took and any additional expenses you may have had. You'll also need to attach a photo that shows the results of your work, and leave a comment to the client. Lastly, save this information by clicking on the option *Complete task* below.

These quick actions are necessary to mark the task as fully completed, and to guarantee payment for all the work you've done.

# How can I invoice clients?

Here's how you will be able to send invoices for completed tasks to your clients.

We could list a good number of reasons why using Discontract is a joy. For example? You won't need to worry about invoicing anymore – we'll take care of it for you!

In order for us to send invoices to clients on your behalf, you'll only need to do the following: once a task has been completed, fill in all the relevant information, such as the task's duration and additional expenses (if there are any), add a photo of the result and click *Complete task*. Once that is done, the client will be charged for your services automatically. At the same time, they will receive notifications both on the Discontract platform and to their e-mail address, informing them of the payment together with a detailed invoice, corresponding to your hourly rate in accordance to the actual time worked.

The invoice for the completed task, including the amount paid by the client, will also be automatically generated and sent to you to the e-mail address provided. Together with this e-mail, you'll also receive an invoice for the applicable Discontract platform fee. Payment will then be sent to your bank account within 24 hours.

Isn't working that much nicer when you know that all calculations and paperwork are already taken care of?

# How can I add information about additional expenses?

Discontract allows you to easily include any necessary extra expenses to the final cost of the service.

Depending on the work you do, you may need to buy certain materials or make other additional purchases to complete a task. Don't worry, Discontract has already thought about it, and made it possible for you to include any additional expenses to the final cost of the order.

Before you mark your task as fully completed, you'll be able to edit information about it on the Discontract platform, such as the exact duration of your work and any extra costs incurred. The platform will then automatically calculate the final price of the service, including the amount indicated.

Remember to keep all relevant receipts confirming your purchases. Moreover, to avoid any misunderstandings, we highly advise checking and agreeing with the client first before making any purchases or adding information about them to your task summary.

## 2. The Discontract Platform <a href="#id-2-the-discontract-platform" id="id-2-the-discontract-platform"></a>

The Discontract Platform constitutes a technology platform that allows Clients to use Discontract Mobile Applications or Website with the purpose of organizing and creating short-term tasks (**Tasks**) with independent third parties that have entered into a Service Provider's agreement with Discontract and provide services available on the Discontract Platform (**Services**).

The Services may only be used for personal, non-commercial purposes, unless otherwise indicated by a written agreement with Discontract.

YOU HEREBY AGREE THAT DISCONTRACT ACTS ONLY AS A PLATFORM (AN INTERMEDIARY), AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY INDEPENDENT THIRD-PARTIES – CONTRACTORS WHO ARE NOT EMPLOYED BY DISCONTRACT NOR ANY RELATED COMPANY, AND/OR ARE NOT OTHERWISE HIRED BY DISCONTRACT. DISCONTRACT ENTERS INTO A SEPARATE SERVICE PROVIDER'S CONTRACT WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS IN ORDER TO ENSURE THE PROPER FUNCTIONING OF THE PLATFORM, BUT IT DOES NOT ACT AS OR HIRE SERVICE PROVIDERS TO PROVIDE SERVICES.

The Discontract Platform connects Users (Clients and Service Providers) solely for the purpose of planning and carrying out Tasks. When a Client creates a Task on the Discontract Platform, Discontract acts as an agent for Service Providers, and allows the Client to find the Service Provider they need and agree on a Service.

The Company is not responsible for communication between Users, for Tasks, or Services. Discontract does not check the competence or professionalism of Service Providers, Users' social skills, communication style, and it does not have control over Tasks, Services, the quality, timing, legality or any other aspect of Tasks and Services, nor does it have control over any ratings or reviews that Users provide to each other. The Company does not make any guarantees or statements about the suitability, reliability, timeliness, and accuracy of any Tasks, Services offered by Service Providers, Services received by Users, or any communications between Users through the Discontract Platform.

Notwithstanding the above, if at any time Discontract is made aware of facts or circumstances regarding actions through the Discontract Platform, Tasks or Services that violate or might violate any person's property and/or non-property rights and/or applicable laws, Discontract has the right to immediately remove a Task, any type of content or User from the Discontract platform without any prior notice. Discontract reserves the right to provide User names or other data to any competent institutions or other third parties that have the rights to it in matters related to violation of any person's property and/or non-property rights and/or applicable laws.

If you believe that a User's actions, Services or Tasks violate or threaten to violate your property and/or non-property rights or other legal requirements, please contact us at <support@discontract.com>.

You agree that you will not copy, modify or otherwise use these objects of intellectual property without Discontract's written authorization.

Your use of the Discontract Platform grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, revocable, and non-transferable license to: (a) access and use the Website and/or Mobile Applications on personal devices, exclusively for the purposes related to Tasks or Services; (b) access and use any content, information and related material that is made available by using the Discontract Platform only for personal purposes and to the extent that is necessary in order to use the Discontract Platform.

You may not: i) remove any copyright, trademark or other property rights from any part of the Discontract Platform; ii) reproduce, modify, make any derived works from, distribute, license, lease, sell, resell, transfer, publicly display, publicly perform, transmit, stream or use the Discontract Platform, unless these actions are directly related to Tasks and Services and are permitted by Discontract; iii) decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble the Discontract Platform or any part of it, unless permitted by applicable laws; iv) link to, mirror or frame the Discontract Platform or any part of it; v) launch any programs or scripts to scrape, index, survey or otherwise retrieve data from any portion of the the Discontract Platform, or excessively burden or hinder any operations or/and features of the Discontract Platform; vi) attempt to gain unauthorised access to or harm the Discontract Platform, and any related systems or networks,

If Discontract is at any moment made aware of facts or circumstances that these restrictions are or may be infringed, Discontract has the right to immediately remove any associated User from the Discontract Platform without prior notice. Discontract also reserves the right to provide User names or other data to any competent institutions or other third parties that have the rights to it in matters related to the infringement of these restrictions.

## 3. Use of Services <a href="#id-3-use-of-services" id="id-3-use-of-services"></a>

You assume full responsibility for all activity on your Account, and agree to maintain your Account secure and the username and password linked to it secret at all times. You may only assign or otherwise transfer your Account to any other person or entity.

**Provision of Services**

If you plan to use the Discontract Platform to provide Services, you must register as a Service Provider, enter into a Service Provider's Agreement with Discontract and provide any additional information requested at Discontract's discretion. In this way, you enable the Company to act on your behalf when you offer your Services on the Discontract Platform, when Clients create Tasks, and when agreements about Services are made. The same person may use the Discontract Platform both as a Service Provider and a Client (i.e. you may, as a registered Service Provider also create Tasks and book Services offered by other Services Providers through the Discontract Platform) with one Account only. The same person is not allowed to create another Account.

### User Behavior <a href="#user-behavior" id="user-behavior"></a>

You will not cause third parties (Service Providers, Clients or any other party) any nuisance, inconvenience, annoyance or property damage through your use of the Discontract Platform.

If you use transportation, logistic or any other Services with age restrictions through the Discontract Platform, you must not allow persons under the age of 18 or any other required age use such Services, unless they are accompanied by you.

In some cases you may be requested to verify your identity to access and use the Discontract Platform, organize or create Tasks, provide or use Services, and you agree that if you refuse to provide the requested proof of identity, you may not be permitted to access the Discontract Platform, provide or use Services.

### User Generated Content <a href="#user-generated-content" id="user-generated-content"></a>

In its sole discretion, Discontract may in some cases allow you to submit, upload, publish or otherwise make available textual, audio and/or visual content and information on the Discontract Platform, including comments and reviews related to Services, support requests, and participation in contests and promotions (**User Content**). Any User Content you publish remains your property, but by submitting the content to Discontract, you supply Discontract with a global, permanent, non-revocable, transferable, and royalty-free license with the right to sublicense, use, copy, modify, make derivative works from, distribute, publicly display, and otherwise use such User Content in any way and through any currently known and future formats and distribution channels (including in connection to Services, Discontract’s activity, and distribution on third-party websites and services), with no prior notice to and consent from you, and with no obligation to pay you or any other person or entity.

You hereby declare and warrant that: i) you either are the sole and exclusive owner of all User Content, or you have all the rights, licenses, consents and releases that are needed to grant Discontract the User Content license, as set out above; ii) neither the User Content or the submission, uploading, publishing or making such Content accessible in any other way, nor Discontract’s use of User Content, as set out in these Terms, may not in any way infringe any applicable laws or regulations, and third-party intellectual property or property rights, or rights to publicity or privacy.

You agree that you will not submit any User Content that is offensive, defamatory, hateful, obscene, pornographic, unlawful, or otherwise abusive that might violate another person's rights or lawful interests, as may be determined by Discontract at its sole discretion, irrespective of whether or not such material is protected by law. Discontract may, but is not obliged to, review, monitor or delete User Content at its sole discretion at any time and for any reason, without a prior notice to you.

Discontract reserves the right to provide any competent institutions or other third parties that have the rights to it with User names or other data of Users that submit or handle User Content that violates or might violate any person's property and/or non-property rights and/or applicable laws.

You are responsible for obtaining and updating compatible hardware or devices necessary to access and use the Discontract Platform, Mobile Applications or Website, as well as any updates to them. This section of these General Terms applies to Clients who book Sercives through the Discontract Platform, and governs payment procedures between Clients and Service Providers when Services are booked through the Discontract Platform.

You understand and agree that by using the Discontract Platform to book Services, you will have to make payments for any Services received from Service Providers or goods related to them (**Payments)**. When you receive Services or goods through the Discontract Platform, Discontract will act as a Service Provider's agent and help you make the applicable Payments through a payment service provider, selected at Discontract's discretion. Such Payments shall be considered the same as if they were made by you to the Service Provider directly. All Payments made by you are final and non-refundable, except when otherwise determined by law or Discontract. When you receive Services or goods, you may request the Service Provider to lower the Payment amount for Services or goods received. Discontract will react accordingly to any request submitted by a Service Provider to modify a Payment Amount on any particular Service or product.

All Payments are to be made immediately after receiving a Service. You will be able to pay via your preferred payment method, indicated on your Account. Once the Payment has been made, a corresponding invoice will be sent to you by Discontract, acting on behalf of the Service Provider, by e-mail. You agree that if the primary payment method on your Account is found to be expired, invalid or otherwise inaccessible, Discontract may, working with a payment service provider selected at its discretion, use a secondary payment method on your Account, if there is one. If the Payment fails, Discontract will attempt to charge your account every 24 hours, and you will be advised accordingly via e-mail. If Discontract does not receive Payment in over 30 days, the outstanding debt may be passed on to a debt collection agency, which may result is additional debt collector's fees or debt recovery costs.

# Special Annex of Supplemental Terms for Provision of Services

These Supplemental Terms are in addition to the terms of the Agreement ([www.discontract.com/terms](http://www.discontract.com/terms)) between you and Discontract. The Supplemental Terms indicated in this annex shall apply in regards to the provision of services through the Discontract platform. Capitalized terms used in this annex will have the respective meanings assigned to them in the Agreement. This special annex replaces the any other Supplemental Terms for Provision of Services to which you may have agreed previously.

**Offering and Providing Services**

### &#x20;<a href="#h_25ddf9538c" id="h_25ddf9538c"></a>

Discontract is a platform that provides you–a professional Service Provider–with a possibility to offer your Services to potential clients, to agree on Tasks, Service provision terms, and communicate with Clients. By agreeing to these Supplemental Terms for Provision of Services, you authorize Discontract to act on your behalf with respect to you offering your Services on the Discontract platform, Clients creating Tasks, and agreeing on provision of Services, i.e. you agree that Discontract may on your behalf: (i) offer your Services to Clients; (ii) advertise the Services you provide through the Platform or engage in other marketing activities ; (iii) allow Clients to create or confirm Tasks for your Services (i.e. agree with Clients about provision of such Services); (iv) calculate Amounts Payable by Clients for Services provided, inform Clients of these payments, generate and send invoices to Clients through payment service providers chosen at Discontract's discretion, and accept Payments from Clients.

You shall, at your expense and risk, and using your own tools and materials (compensation for which must be agreed on with a Client), provide Services as indicated (agreed to by you and a Client) in a Task. You undertake to provide Services to Clients in a responsible and professional manner, in accordance with the conditions specified in agreed-upon Tasks, for a pay which will be calculated according to procedures described below in this Annex.

By providing Services, you act as an independent service provider (contractor). None of the conditions set out in the General Terms of Service or this Annex may be interpreted as condititions that create a new legal entity, joint venture, or employment relationships of any sort.

### Pro Rate <a href="#pro-rate" id="pro-rate"></a>

You may receive hourly-rate based payments for services performed through Discontract, as stated in the Agreement and this special annex. For the total cost of an order, the Pro Rate will be calculated on the basis of gross hourly rate per indicated working time.

You must indicate your gross pay (hourly rate) in your Account (under "Services") for each service you wish to provide. The rates on your Account are personal, i.e. only modifiable by and visible to you. The indicated Pro Rate corresponds to the hourly rate you wish to receive for your services after the Platform fee has been deducted, as set out below, and includes all taxes payable by you as a Service Provider (it will hereinafter be referred to as the Amount Payable to the Service Provider). Payment Totals visible to clients on the Discontract platform correspond to payments for services, which include the Platform Fee.

Once you have indicated your rates, Discontract will review and confirm them, or, if any manifest errors are detected, inform you accordingly. Your rates might not be visible to clients on the Discontract platform until you have been verified as a Service Provider, or a new or modified rate card has been approved.

### Payments for Services <a href="#payments-for-services" id="payments-for-services"></a>

Clients shall be charged for your Services offered through the Discontract platform in accordance to your Pro Rate plus the Platform fee per actual hours spent on a Task/providing a Service. Payments shall be made through Discontract, which reserves the right to, at its sole discretion, choose a payment service provider. Payments for any Services provided shall be due once a Task has been completed and Services provided. Discontract shall generate and issue invoices to Clients on your behalf.

The payment amounts calculated at the time of booking are estimates and may differ from the final Payment corresponding to the actual duration of any Services provided. Upon providing a Service, you must indicate the actual time spent on a Task, which shall then be taken into account when calculating the final Payment amount.

### **Platform Fee** <a href="#platform-fee" id="platform-fee"></a>

Use of the Discontract platform and any transfers set out in these Supplemental Terms for Provision of Services are subject to a Platform Fee (**Platform Fee**). The Platform Fee is calculated upon completion of a Task, for each separate Task that has actually been completed.

The Platform Fee is calculated as a percentage (the values of which are stated in Discontract's price list) of each indicated Pro Rate on your Account (the hourly rate you wish to receive for Services provided). When you indicate your desired hourly rate, the Discontract platfrom calculates the applicable Platform Fee and adds it to your Pro Rate. The total amount, which will be visible to Clients as the Amount to be Paid, will be displayed to you as the Client's Rate.

These amounts shall unconditionally include all taxes payable by you or on your behalf by Discontract (including, but not limited to personal income tax), and other payments related to Payments made by Clients and the Amounts Payable to the Service Provider. This means that when (i) you must, in accordance with applicable law, pay taxes or contributions, these shall be paid from the Amounts Payable to the Service Provider, or (ii) when, in accordance to applicable law, Discontract must deduct and pay taxes or contributions on your behalf, these shall be deducted from the Amount Payable to the Service Provider.

By offering your Services through the Discontract platform, you confirm that you are familiar with tax obligations, and you assume sole and full responsibility for all required and applicable taxes and contributions in respect to Services provided and payments received.

### Additional Payments to You <a href="#additionalpayments-to-you" id="additionalpayments-to-you"></a>

For your convenience, you may receive additional payments from Clients through the Discontract platform and its selected payment service provider, such as: payments for materials (these sums are not included in the Client or Pro Rate, and they must be agreed on with the Client separately), tolls, taxes or other payments for Service-related expenses that you may incurr when providing Services, and which you should be additionally compensated for by a Client (e.g. the cost of removing waste materials) and others. The Platform Fee shall not be applied to these additional payments.

### Payment Procedures <a href="#payment-procedures" id="payment-procedures"></a>

Acting on your behalf and through a payment service provider, selected at its discretion, Discontract accepts Payments made by Clients for your Services, and, first deducting the Platform Fee, makes a transfer for the Amount Payable to the Service Provider to you. We make every reasonable effort to ensure that any due Amounts Payable to the Service Provider are made to you at least once a week.

The payments made through the Discontract Platform do not include any interest.

Discontract reserves the right to modify or withhold part or full amount of the Amount Payable to the Service Provider, if (i) we believe the Service Provider has attempted to cheat or abuse the Discontract Platform or has otherwise failed to comply with our General Terms of Service, or (ii) we have received a Client's claim in regards to your Services. A decision by Discontract to modify or withhold a payment in any way will be taken for the purposes of reaching a compromise fair to both Client and Service Provider.

### **Marketing of Your Services** <a href="#marketing-of-your-services" id="marketing-of-your-services"></a>

You acknowledge and agree that in the interest of both parties, Discontract has the right to advertise the Services you offer on the Discontract Platform, or engage in other marketing activities. You acknowledge and agree that such advertisement or marketing do not constitute an entitlement to any additional monetary sums, Discontract's pay for such marketing services is included in the Platform Fee, and you shall not receive any additional payments for them.

### Additional Payments <a href="#additional-payments" id="additional-payments"></a>

You hereby acknowledge and agree that, for the benefit of both parties, Discontract and its affiliates may create more new and existent clients' demand for your services through advertisement or marketing. You acknowledge and agree that such advertisement or marketing do not constitute an entitlement to any additional monetary amounts exceeding those clearly stated in the Agreement and the annex of Supplemental Terms for Provision of Services.

**Consent and Information Accuracy**

Before you register as a Service Provider or when you provide Services to Clients, Discontract may request you to submit information about yourself and your activities, including: (i) a valid identity document, (ii) business activity number, (iii) other information required for tax or legal purposes.

Your continued use of the Discontract platform constitutes your acceptance of and agreement to all of the terms and conditions in this annex of Special Terms for Provision of Services.

Now, all of it is possible in the way that's most convenient to you! By booking services through Discontract, you'll be able to leave those tiring searches in the past, and instead see how quickly your projects can progress – without all the extra effort.

How do you get started?

Get ready to book your first service. We promise – it's a breeze. Follow the instructions below and see for yourself:

➢ First, click on the search bar on the main page.

➢ Type in the service you're looking for or select it from the list.

➢ You will now need to provide some information about your order, such as your address, date, preferred time of your task, its estimated duration, and a short description. To give the pro a clear idea of what has to be done, you may also be asked to indicate room size or upload a photo of the object that you need help with for certain service categories.

Estimated task duration: Remember, the final cost of your order will be calculated according to the hourly rate of the selected service provider and the actual time spent on the task. You will be able to later consult the estimated duration directly with the selected pro.

Description of the task: You don't have to go over every single detail, but keep in mind that the more information you provide, the easier it will be for the pro to give an accurate estimate in regards to the task duration and any additional expenses it may require.

➢ When all the fields have been filled in, click on *Find a Pro*. We'll give you a list of local pros, where you'll be able to select the right person for the job by comparing profiles, hourly rates, and ratings. Click *Sort* *by* to choose which pros to see first.

# Zamawianie usług

## A place to group your spaces

A collection in GitBook is kind of like a folder for your spaces or other collections. When you create a collection, you'll get a kind of ‘tree’ view in your sidebar.

This makes it super easy to collect all your content into logical groups and can have a big impact on your GitBook experience!

## Going further with collections

We're just touching on the basics here, but if you want to get extra fancy, collections can actually be published and have their very own set of permissions! Feel free to go explore, but for now, let's have a peek at the GitBook editor.

Gdy usługodawca potwierdzi Twoje zlecenie, uznamy, że Twoje zamówienie zostało przyjęte i będziesz mógł je znaleźć i zarządzać nim w aplikacji w sekcji „*Zadania*”.

# Dlaczego do zamawiania usługi potrzebuje karty płatniczej?

➢ Przejdź do swojego konta ➢ W sekcji *„Informacje o koncie*” wybierz „*Metody* *płatności*” ➢ Wprowadź dane karty płatniczej i kliknij „*Zapisz*”.

Everything you've read so far has been in the **editor**. This window right here is where all your page content comes together.

## Block-based

The Editor is full of all sorts of content blocks, like this hint:

{% hint style="info" %}
**Check me out!** I’m an editable 'hint' block, and I think I look pretty great 💅
{% endhint %}

You can access the block list at any time by hitting `CMD + /` (`CTRL + /` on Windows) to bring up a filterable list of blocks. Or you can check out our documentation for a full list of blocks with examples.

## A note on markdown

While the editor supports most common Markdown decorators, behind the scenes, GitBook is converting this to a document format that works with our block-based editor.

Możesz to zrobić, wyszukując usługodawcę, wprowadzając wymagane informacje, wśród których znajdziesz także przewidywany czas trwania zadania.&#x20;

## Live edit

You might have noticed that you can pretty much edit anything in this space. This is because the space is in what's know as **live edit** mode. In this mode, anyone who has permission can edit the content directly. This is great for early-days use. It is great for quick changes. No need for complex workflows.

At some point, you may reach a greater level of maturity with your content. That's when you may need some of the more powerful workflow features in GitBook…

## Locked edits

The alternative to a live edit mode is called **locked edits**. Spaces that are locked for live edits aren't directly editable, and any edits you need to make must be handled through **change requests**. You can lock a space using the space menu and selecting 'Lock live edits'.

• gdy usługodawca musiał ponieść dodatkowe koszty w celu wykonania zadania;

• Telefonicznie – po prawej stronie zlecenia i nazwy klienta zobaczysz ikonę telefonu, którą możesz kliknąć, aby bezpośrednio zadzwonić do klienta;

• Anulowanie pasywne – jeśli nowe zlecenie nie zostanie potwierdzone w ciągu 30 minut od otrzymania, następuje automatyczne anulowanie zadania;

Gdy to zrobisz, poprosimy Cię o wypełnienie kwestionariusza wykonania zlecenia o czasie trwania zlecenia i poniesionych dodatkowych kosztach.

Discontract ułatwia uwzględnienie dodatkowych kosztów niezbędnych do wykonania zadania w ostatecznej cenie zamówienia.

Przed sfinalizowaniem zadania zawsze będziesz mógł zaktualizować informacje z nim związane na platformie Discontract – wskazać konkretny czas trwania zadania i poniesione dodatkowe koszty. Platforma automatycznie obliczy ostateczną cenę zamówienia i doliczy podane kwoty.

Pamiętaj, aby zachować paragony! Ponadto, aby uniknąć nieporozumień, przed wprowadzeniem informacji o kosztach zawsze warto uzgodnić i omówić z klientem niezbędne materiały lub inne dodatkowe zakupy.
