# What do I need if I want to provide services?

In order for you to use the Discontract platform as a service provider, we'll require you to provide certain information, which is needed to make all that the platform offers possible and ensure our users' safety. No worries, it's really nothing complicated!

All you will need is a valid passport or an identity card, which will be used to verify your identity, and a self-employment (individual activity) or a business certificate number.

These documents will have to be submitted when you begin your Pro registration, which can be found in your Account.

To complete the identity verification process, you'll have to do the following:

➢ Follow the app's instructions on how to take a photo of your face (your phone camera's position will have to be set in a way for your face to match the outlines seen on the screen);

➢ Take a photo of your passport or identity card.

The self-employment certificate can be requested through the STI (State Tax Inspectorate) self-service page.

Alternatively, if you have a registered business, you will need to provide the corporate code to complete the registration.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.discontract.com/en/for-service-providers/become-a-pro/what-do-i-need-if-i-want-to-provide-services.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
